Thomas
Born and raised in Trentino, I am the third generation in my family to spend time in the mountains. My grandmother—the village's first ski tourer—along with my father and uncle were the first to bring me to the summits with boots, skis, and bikes. Later came climbing and high altitudes with friends, the same friends who introduced me to the Mountain Rescue Service as a volunteer. I spend time in the mountains every month of the year—hiking, running, skiing, or climbing. I visit them as someone head over heels in love with the peaks, as a father together with my family, and as a teacher intent on passing down values and passion to the next generations. I am deeply honored to also be there as a Rescue Worker, offering my knowledge and skills to help others in need.
